  • Q: Why are evaluations going online?

    • Answer:
    Since online evaluations don’t use any paper, we are helping to save the planet by saving trees! Doing evaluations online also means that you have up to two weeks to complete them, any time, anywhere!

  • Q: What are the benefits of doing online evaluations?

    • Answer:
    Online evaluations give you the flexibility to decide when and where you want to do your evaluations! Say goodbye to the stuffy classroom, with online evaluations you can let your mind soar to make sure your answers do make a difference. Online evaluations also save the university money, which means one less reason to raise tuition. Professors also use your answers to adjust their courses and make them better!

  • Q: Since I have to log in with my NKU username, will my professor know what I said?

    • Answer:
    No, professors don’t have any access to identifying information. Students’ names and IDs are not stored within the evaluation record, so your personal information can never be paired with your responses.

  • Q: Once I log in, do I have to do evaluations for all of the courses I’m enrolled in?

    • Answer:
    No, you don’t have to complete evaluations for all of your courses at once. Class evaluations can be done whenever you want, however, they do have to be completed within the windows of availability for that particular class.

  • Q: How long do I have to complete an evaluation once I’ve started one?

    • Answer:
    Once you start an evaluation you will have 30 minutes to complete it before being automatically logged out of the system. If you do not complete your evaluation within this time, you will still be able to revisit and complete the evaluation at any time within the window of availability for that class.

  • Q: The paper evaluations required me to give my GPA and other information; will you need that same information online?

    • Answer:
    The online evaluations will not require you to enter your GPA or any other identifying information.

  • Q: If I change my mind about an evaluation after I’ve submitted it, can I go back and revise it?

    • Answer:
    Once an evaluation has been submitted, you cannot go back and revise it.

  • Q: If I have a technical problem with online student evaluations, what should I do?

    • Answer:
    Any problem you encounter with online student evaluations should be directed to the NKU service center at (859) 572-6911.

  • Q: If I have a question or suggestion about online student evaluations, what should I do?

    • Answer:

  • Q: Will I receive an email to let me know when the two week evaluation period begins and ends?

    • Answer:
    Yes you will receive reminder emails during the evaluation period.

  • Q: What site do I visit to do online evaluations?

    • Answer:
    Go to eval.nku.edu and select the "Student Login" option from the navigation on the left side of the page.
